Back Sarah Dyke's Campaign to Protect our Community Pharmacies

Bruton Pharmacy

Health campaigner Sarah Dyke is fighting to protect community pharmacies after Glastonbury was left with no high street pharmacy, and calling for emergency funding to prevent more closures.

The financial situation in community pharmacies remains unsustainable, however, and Sarah and the Liberal Democrats are calling on the Government to implement a long-term plan for pharmacy services.

“Sarah is fighting for the vital support our community pharmacies need to survive.”

Sarah Dyke said, “Local pharmacies provide a vital frontline health service. With GP appointments scarce and other health services stretched beyond breaking point, it is more important than ever that community pharmacies are supported.”

Amid mass closures across the country, Sarah Dyke is fighting for emergency funding from the government to keep community pharmacies open.

"But the sad reality is that the Conservatives undervalue them. Even now, when they’re under critical pressure and closing their doors, the Conservative Government won’t step in with emergency funding."
