Sarah Dyke in front of an NHS sign

Local GP Crisis

Patients in Somerset are having to wait weeks to see a GP, as the Conservative NHS crisis deepens.

New figures show there are now more than 2,100 patients for every GP in our part of Somerset.

Sarah Dyke and the Liberal Democrats are calling for urgent action to fix the problem.

The Lib Dem GP plan would guarantee people can see a doctor quickly. And we’d introduce a new 24/7 hotline so people could book an appointment anytime, rather than have to wait in a long queue every morning hoping to get through.

Back Sarah's campaign for more GPs

Health campaigner Sarah said: “Local doctors are working as hard as they can but they’ve been let down by this Conservative Government. Back my campaign for more GPs to make sure people can see their GP within a week, or within 24 hours if in urgent need."
