Sarah Dyke and the River Brue

Save the River Brue

The River Brue and its tributaries are an iconic feature of Somerset’s landscapes. They nourish our farmland, provide opportunities for outdoor recreation and wild swimming, and support diverse native wildlife populations, including the critically endangered European Eel.

Despite this, untreated sewage continues to be dumped into our waterways, causing phosphate levels to rise and threatening the catchment area’s fragile ecosystem.

Help Save the River Brue

Sign below to urge the Government to take immediate action to save the River Brue catchment, replace Ofwat with a stronger unified regulator, place water companies under mutual ownership, and enforce full transparency on sewage discharges.
